The Tools

In order to give you the best value for your money, all of the tools in this kit are imported. Most of the tools in the kit (everything except the locking pliers) come from a single manufacturer. The tool manufacturer has been manufacturing premium quality tools for many years. A lot of the tools made by this manufacturer get re-branded and sold under a different name – so you may already have some of these tools in your garage. They have been very popular in Europe and are just recently entering the United States. All of the tools were chosen with the off-road rider in mind and consequently are small and light weight. Because we are importing directly from the manufacturer, we can sell these tools at a price that is about 75% less than you would pay if you bought them in a retail store. It is an incredible bargain.

Complete Tool Kit in a Tool Roll

Standard or Premium Tool Roll:

The Standard tool roll is made of 1000 denier black texturized nylon. It has 10 pockets of assorted widths (2 inch, 1 inch, 1/2 inch) with two extra elastic straps to hold the tools in. You can use both the elastic straps for long tools and just one of them for short tools – that way none of the tools get hidden from view. You fold the top flap over and roll the tools up so nothing falls out and everything is secure. It also has a zippered pouch for your smaller items and a strap to tie it closed. The Tool Roll is 7 inches when folded over (so it will accommodate a tool that is up to 7 inches long). When folded this way, it is small enough to fit into a large fender bag, fanny pack or handlebar bag. You can actually fit tools longer than 7 inches, but it will make the roll that much longer and may make it too big for your fender bag. It is a great way to organize your tools for the road. Since you will probably be expanding this tool kit, we are leaving a few of the pockets in the tool roll empty to allow you to added other tools that you may need. The Tool Roll is made in America.

The Premium Tool is for the person who rides a lot or just needs a little more room for tools. The Premium Tool Roll is made of thicker 1200 denier nylon so it's a little more puncture resistant. Other features of this tool roll that make it a little nicer are velcro closure on the flap, 11 pockets instead of 10 and a zippered pocket that is lined with waterproof material.The Premium tool roll is also 7 inches long, but it takes up a little more space because of the thicker material and extra pocket.

Stubby Metric Wrenches:

Stubby metric wrenches made of chrome vanadium steel sizes 8, 10, 12, and 13mm. These are the sizes you will find on most Japanese and European motorcycles. They are combination wrenches with an open and box end of the same size on each wrench. They are stubby wrenches so they do not take up too much space or add a lot of weight. They have a satin finish. We prefer satin finish over mirror finish because we like to paint all of our tools bright yellow so that they are easy to find in the dirt or grass. The paint will stay longer on the satin finish. It’s up to you if you want to paint them (you may not want to “ruin” the look of these beautiful tools). In any case, painted or not, they won’t rust or corrode...

6 Inch Adjustable Wrench:

A 6 Inch Adjustable Wrench with a Satin Finish. This wrench will accommodate nuts or bolts up to 24mm in size; this wrench also has a gauge on the side that tells you what size bolt you are setting the wrench for. This is a great feature because it eliminates a common problem with adjustable wrenches; you set the wrench at approximately the size of the nut, put it on the nut and give it a twist. The wrench then slips off the nut because you set it a little too big and rounds off the corners of the nut. With the size gauge you can set the wrench correctly the first time.

Sockets and Holder:

Socket Set with ¼ inch drive sockets in sizes 8,10,12, and 13mm. Also includes two hex bit sockets (otherwise known as allen wrenches) in sizes 5 and 6mm and a Phillips and Flat Screwdriver socket. All of these sockets are clipped into a metal holder that is around 5inches long.

Extension Bar:

A ¼ drive extension bar that is 4 inches long.

Sliding T-Handle:

A ¼ inch drive Sliding T-Handle Wrench. This is a light-duty Sliding T-Handle wrench that can be used with the ¼ drive extension and socket bits. So it’s a socket wrench, screwdriver, and hex wrench all in one. You can also use it without the extension when you have clearance problems. A T-Handle will help you remove nuts and bolts quickly and efficiently.

Breaker Bar:

A 5 ½ inch long breaker bar with a ¼ drive. The Sliding T-Handle is a little to small to break loose the bigger nuts. So use this bar to break them loose and finish with the T-Handle

Locking Pliers:

A small set of Locking Pliers. Locking Pliers are best because you can use them as an extra hand or in a pinch you can even use them as a shift or clutch lever.

Cordura Fender Bag:

Need something to put your tool roll in? We now carry fender bags by Dirt-Bike-Gear. The fender bag is made of 1000 denier Cordura Nylon. This bag is zippered at the top and has two extra compression straps that are long enough to secure a rain jacket if you need one. The bag bolts securely to your fender. Mounting hardware is included. The bag measures 8x5x3 so will easily hold your tool roll with some room to spare. It should fit any full sized dirt bike and all ATV's.This is quality bag - every seam is double stitched. The bag is made in America. It comes in four colors: Black, Red, Yellow and Orange. We recommend that you buy black because this bag will probably outlast your bike and you may want to change the color of your next bike!

KDX Ballistic Fender Bag:

Need something to put your tool roll in? We now carry fender bags by Dirt-Bike-Gear. This top of the line bag is made of 1050 Ballistic nylon, the strongest and best material you can buy. It also has a dense foam padded bottom and sewn in key ring. The two compression straps have genuine Fastex buckles and sliders and are are long enough to secure a rain jacket if you need one. The bag bolts securely to your fender. Mounting hardware is included. The bag measures 8x5x3 so will easily hold your tool roll with some room to spare.
